What is SSEI?
The Spirit Sports Efficiency Index (SSEI) is a composite team rating built from efficiency, consistency, and explosiveness. It blends Net Yards per Play, Net EPA per Play, offensive and defensive success rates, and offensive and defensive explosive play rates to create a cleaner picture of team strength beneath the surface.
